After 12pm today, August 31st I will be 19. Birthday’s may be inconsequential to some, maybe you feel too old to celebrate birthday’s. To me a birthday is the day your entity came to be. What ever your destined to become in life was all started on a single day, a single second to be exact when you first came into the world. Every second after that you gathered information from your environment, you gathered bits and pieces of qualia that will soon shape who you will be. I hope to be someone big in the movie industry. I think about it everyday. Every birthday I become more excited about the idea that I am closer to making my dream a reality, I am closer to yelling “action” on a major soundstage. That puts the biggest smile on my face and makes my heart race. I hope you have this feeling for something. Even though getting older is a scary thought, even though you may think birthday’s are juvenile and un-eventful, they happen thousands of times every single day.
A birthday to me doesn’t mean it’s becoming closer to the time of complete anal maturity, a birthday to me means that it’s becoming closer to the time that I will look like a complete old fool who still believes he’s a kid still. A kid at heart. That’s me, always will be.
